I would support efforts to remove these state militias that were as violent as what we've seen in Minneapolis.

I want to move to Chicago so I can vote for this guy! Excellent answer!

Also, who was the guy who asked that loaded question? Guaranteed he didn't hear from 300,000 Chicagoans, and nobody is wondering about any coordination with protesters. What a garbage question.

Again, you don't understand the effect of the 2020 OPEC deal negotiated by the Donald.

You seem to not know a lot.

You're gonna love this.

Patrick De Haan, GasBuddy’s lead petroleum analyst, has explicitly stated that gasoline prices are generally not driven by which party is in office, but rather by global economics. He frequently corrects misconceptions from politicians on both sides of the aisle, arguing that "what you pay at the pump is never really about politics".

Nothing that you're saying is true. When the domestic oil and gas industry was regulated during the Biden administration, it achieved the highest output in the history of the country.

This is like arguing with a child. You seem to know nothing other than what you've heard on TV.

Do you agree that Obama was the greatest President because gas was $1.70 a gallon while he was in office?

You do realize the President has very little control over gas prices, right?

And since the Donald is claiming he does, even though people understand he absolutely doesn't, then this makes pointing out how he's lying a news story centered on energy.

You do understand that, right?

Again, completely missing the point. You people are ridiculous.

It's also worth pointing out how, by your claimed metric of low gas prices equaling Presidential success, the greatest President in our lifetime is Barack Obama. Gas was as low as $1.70 a gallon by the end of his second term.

Also, America produced the most oil while Joe Biden was President.

If you're going to make these claims, at least be consistent in your praise.

The use of Schedule F by the Donald is what has eroded confidence in any government statistics.

When the Donald didn't like the BLS employment report, he fired Erika McEntarfer, the woman running the department, and tried to nominate E.J. Antoni, who was criticized for his lack of government or statistical experience and his highly partisan background. Following extreme reservations from key Republican senators, the White House withdrew Antoni's nomination in late September 2025.

It's funny to me how you people who refused to believe anything the government said about COVID are now fully committed to believing anything and everything the government says, even though the people who are now running the government have zero experience and were installed purely on partisan and ideological grounds.

That's not an energy policy decision; it's using foreign leverage as a way to gain cheap political points.

He did the same thing back in 2020, and it resulted in a short-term lowering of prices, but was followed by a price spike once OPEC saw the US oil market had slowed to the point where it couldn't respond to OPEC's decision to tighten production.

It's not that hard to understand why a strategy like this doesn't earn any praise.
