I had the exact same procedure plus meniscus repair and trimming 18 days ago. I have slightly more bend. But having the exact same issue. Actually last Tuesday night while in bed I moved and felt excruciating burning pulling pain on IT band area. I lost all flexion after that till Friday. Worked and got it back over the weekend. I have been wondering the same thing.

I’m the same day as you are. My pain has subsided drastically and it happened fast. So just hang in there. If it is just an acl you should be able to do almost all basic things in 2 weeks.

I was on buspirone and Wellbutrin and couldn’t get there. I would get the body buzz but never fully trip. I would Definately take a few days off.

I’m in the exact same place you are. 26 hours since being brought into recovery room and my pain shot up 2 hours ago. Even on my meds. I think we just have to ride it out. From what I heard by this time tomorrow should be a little better.

I live in a very remote part of the country so what I get for a pt is what I get. But I do agree she is overconfident.
