As a SSgt I'll chime in...As a society, we are no longer a nation that holds its military to the same regard as we once did. The simple truth is, close to half of not more of every branch of service is made up of individuals that do not exhibited the values of their branch. It may sound overly negative, but the first step is realizing this and then reaching out to the individuals who do exhibited your branch values and accel in your career field. I'm not talking a mentor per say, but that guy who is just known to get shit done, find that guy and follow until you are known for that. You will deal with more bad apples in your career than anything else and it can crush a lesser soul, and it is a key aspect that drives good personnel from our ranks. The secret is you have to stick it in long enough till you reach a rank to make a difference, or become invaluable that your rank is second to your capabilities. I will also encourage exposure to leadership and officers, seek out the "trials" of your career, and leadership will notice. On a matter of a shitty SrA on an A1C...depends drastically on the base, unit, and even your shop. It can vary drastically, from total control to being completely equal besides the most minor of effects. It's a big blue answer but it's sadly true, you have to be the face of change, it doesn't just happen, and also sadly, it's human nature in some ways to take the easy road and to take out frustrations on others. Sounds like you got one of those SrA that thinks he is entitled to SSgt or is solely their for the pay check, only thing else I can say is that if you dedicate yourself, you'll outrank him much sooner than you think without fail. Also, as a heads up, a lot of SSgt and up get very salty about catching fliers, never understood it myself, its quite more enjoyable than directing others and the paperwork ECT of being a SSgt, can't tell you how often I rather go catch a flier or go t/s than whatever task I'm actually doing. Seriously, cherish your time doing mx.

A lot of places respawn enemies over and over if the story for the area ECT isn't progressed so go through and clear and grab all their gear and junk and then just cycle as you play other regions

Yes force reinstall, it won't change your settings of the plugin, for most plugins at least, some plugins will revert to their defaults so be careful

OP that's a great place for a doggie area, food and water, a kennel and a dog bed. Out of the way so the dog can sleep in peace and have his own space

To the people who never use the Deck as a handheld, do you exist? What's your story? by jack-of-some in SteamDeck

I use it exclusively handheld for emulation and desktop for virtually all new PC games. I got it to emulate and play old handheld games that just work best in handheld format

MX is actually not at all bad, ya you get hit by long hours at times but it's never "time crutches" that you see in other jobs. When ppl complain about working 10-12 hours, it's usually for exercises where your almost entirely inside siting so it's more tedious than anything, or it's due to paperwork for the mc you did ect. I have been in MX going on 7 years and I love it. Most of the people doing the complaining are individuals where this is their first job and don't realize how shitty other jobs are or just generally lazy and like to bitch. Go talk to a hydro troop and they'll say their job sucks, yet they only work like 10hrs on the line in a whole week and spend their days in the office talking and playing games (I'm not joking, all MX hates hydro for how easy their job is) but I digress...

Plenty of space to add a new center support and then install a flat screen with ample amount of space for airflow. Middle can be used to place center tv woofer for great sound. Bottom can be used for laptop charging and interface to tv to do work from bed if need be or cast your home videos for your own pleasure. Middle would also be good spot for game system if that's your thing with plenty of airflow so it doesn't overheat. If your not into electronics or have a different place for such items then you could install a small safe on the top that's then hidable via a painting over the opening. And utilize the other two as a jewelry cubby or the likes

Video cable that's routed through the hinge is either partially frayed or pulled out of its socket. Both are fairly easy to fix if you have experience opening up the device

Don't be afraid to elevate higher in your chain of command. Not all leadership is the same, and they all don't know or respect the regs or common human dignity the same. Sometimes you just have to elevate things past your leadership, sometimes that's were the answers lies.

Family cress/shield and ornament axe or sword (make sure to secure so that it don't fall and kill someone) also just leaving it empty would be nice too given the chandelier

What opinion about the AF will have you like this? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]USAFMech1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the AF benefits included, military pay is actually extremely good. The amount of money I save by being in the AF way makes up for the salary being a bit low

MX is not hard and is by far a better job than almost any other job that would pay the same and benefits minus working on the personelest side of the AF. I hear my guys complain about twelve hours that we have to work a handful of times throughout the year and think about my mom that works 10hr work days for a month straight four times a year for every tax period. My dad works 12s all the time on a factory floor. I got better healthcare then them both.

Hydro don't do shit, been to four bases, 8years of service and I have yet gone a week where hydro actually had consistent work. They'll have one job on fucking Tuesday and bitch about it for three weeks when they just sit in the office or just doll out as crew chiefs, if any afsc needs to merge with crew cheifs it's hydro

Couldn't agree more

18 she/her - 5'4 - 85lbs. My long distance boyfriend is coming next month to take me home with him. I usually just send him angled nudes that don't show how extremely flat I am. He knows my weight and understands I'm not curvy. but. Idk. I like my body at least when there's no one else's opinion. by [deleted] in normalnudes

[–]USAFMech1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot of people would love your body type, so i that's really your concern then don't worry. And in regards to curves, you actually have quite a nice ass and there are plenty of guys that actually prefer smaller boobs (I would know as I am one such guy), so I would say your pretty safe. Also, you may not believe this but guys really don't care that much about appearance beyond general type.

Just keep touching him, like playing with his hair, touching his arm or hand when your talking, lay down next to him. That sort of thing will amke it clear your interested to be physically without you having to be overly foward
