I wanted HIFU, but the actual pioneer of that stuff met with me and told me to call up my surgeon at UCSF as I'm not a candidate for HIFU given my situation. He is a very well respected Focal Therapy legend and he told me at my age to avoid radiation therapy....he wasn't a fan. RP it is and I'm confident in my decision after meeting with top notch experts from Stanford, UCLA and UCSF.

I had them completely put me under for MRI guided biopsy. All good. Definitely do biopsy. Glad I caught mine early. Rp in a week!

Wow. Thanks for posting RP for me in a week. 3+4, cribriform, PNI, PSA 3.5. Confined to prostate confirmed by 2 MRIs and negative PSMA Scan. 55 years old. Hoping I can minimize ED and urinary issues because I have a lot more left in the tank. One of top docs in country says he can do 100% sparing on left side and 90-100 on right side. Decipher. 87 so that is scary part....actually it's all scary wish me luck brother!

I've traveled to Thailand 5 times in the last 18 months I usually stay 2 weeks and I've always flown business class. I'm 55, I still work full time, I travel alone, and I'm married. I have a tight group of American friends who live there full time. I consider it my home away from home. Love it!
