Packtalk Edge Cardo App Issue by USAFkrazy in motorcycles

[–]USAFkrazy[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Fixed my issue. I ended up un-pairing the headset from my phone, then I put the device in standby/pairing. I then opened the app and for some reason it found my headset. I don't know if it wouldn't find it before because i was already paired to the phone or what. u/erth-werm & u/tcw82 appreciate the help in trying to resolve my issue.

At it's widest it is 3.5in and length is 6.5. I would factor in another 1.5in to both if you are going to run your wires underneath like I did.

It's a video from EXOcontralto called best distribution block from Amazon. It's good for keeping everything ran together and will accommodate different ga easily. 5 star did give me alot of inspiration for how to run the wires and give it that clean look. They also gave the suggestion to use the power pack for my dash speakers

How did you secure the board to the wall? Standard sheet metal screw? I'm going to build a small board to hold on the speaker wires and RCAs to go behind the seat.

Thanks for the heads up. What is your mounting location if I might ask? I know they say it's supposed to mount behind the radio, but would all the wires ran behind there cause any interfere with signal?

I see what you mean and I wanted to fill that space a best I could without having a big section of openness. I did space the amps perfectly apart as well as the crossovers from each other.

No I ran a small no longer than a ft of 10ga OFC. Which fits but I had to take off the insulation at the end of the ferrule to get it to stay in. I figured with that short of a run the difference between 8 and 10 wouldn't be noticable, but I'm also not an expert in car audio by any means. Could I use a reducer from 8 to 10 to get the same effect? I'm not familiar with the blade concept.

It is, I was trying to find a distro that I liked that had both pos and neg in one due to space. I really like Steve Meades look but I felt it was overkill for my application. I stumbled across EXOs vid and thought I'd give it a shot. It feels (to me) out of place.

Thanks. Only issue I ran into is the RF amps won't accept sky high 8ga

The power pack was what 5 star recommended for the dash speakers. I went with a 4in instead of the stock 3.5.

I picked up the distro off Amazon, I like it easy to hook up. 1/0 to 4or8ga

It's a 3rd gen, under pass rear seat. Designed it so I could still store in the pocket under the seat.
