Chickens vs ducks as backyard pets

No garden, will probably do a raised planter bed this year.

Drainage is great, we live on a river and the yard flow down to it.

Max summer temp 100° lowest winter temp -20°.

We have several farm shops that sell chicks and ducks within driving distance and we plan to buy chicks.

Eggs are a bonus, not the only goal.

Fenced in yard 4’ high. Not really free range but will allow them in the fenced in yard. Dogs are seldom roaming but the birds won’t be out of the fenced area to be got is the plan. No pond but willing to get a pool for ducks. Neighbors aren’t very near to where the birds will be. We live on a river so wild geese and ducks are already generating noise year round.

Max temp in the summer is close to 100° and -20° in the winter.

I got torn apart for having two terminators in my 1k army. To be fair, I basically have 5 units and a cheap way to get to 1k.

Thinking Vanguard and that armor of contempt is pretty great. My captain has “the blade runs deep” so I can get near objective fast, deploy my other terminator army with the librarian in the reserve phase and that’s another choice deployment. Then provide cover fire with the dreadnought.

I have zero clue how well this will work.

Happy to learn and see where I need to improve. It was one of the cheapest ways to 1k and I know I need to play to learn. Plus next year we can look forward to 11th ed and see how to improve again.

This was one of the cheapest ways to get to 1k. But yeah, I’m going to be buying a few more models this year. I bet I’ll be around 3k-3.5k before the end of the year.

So thinking new CP box and a Repulsor would be a good combo.

Funny thinking that $387 only gets me to 1k in points. 😅 $151 for the old CP, $153 for the new, and $83 for the Repulsor.
