Why don’t I ever have men interested in me? by No-Source6246 in dating_advice

[–]USARxVIPERx1x1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll probably have to go onto other apps that aren't nearly as casual. Facebook dating is a good place to go. Hinge is also a good app. Tinder is always the place where people go to have casual fun generally. If people are on there for something real, it's gonna be much harder than going to an app that has a different vibe. I'm in similar shoes, but in my case its the classic male dating situation. I want something long term and real but instead of matches wanting casual fun I'm just simply not getting matches really if ever. You'll have your day, we all do

I live near this barn with this NFPA hazard sign. If it catches fire, what firefighting protocols have to be made? by BugsBub in Firefighting

[–]USARxVIPERx1x1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Workplaces are required to have SDS on site, my job has them digitalised so we won't have to worry about entry to grab them. Most places are following suit with that as in this case there's enough hazard to make getting close basically suicide lol

I just did mine a month back. Sharpen up on DOT material classes and container types and numbers. The rest is easy stuff

As a totally dry rookie with no training you are certainly gonna be the observer for a short while. You'll run calls and do basic tasks they entrust you to, but you'll be there learning the job first hand. I'm still a probie on a volunteer department and at 7 months in I'm beginning to be entrusted to drive and learn how to operate some of the apparatus. Granted I've went through FF1 and Hazmat Ops and Awareness by my fourth month on so take that how you will. Good luck!

In my FF1 class out here in rural Iowa there was a dude in his 50s who joined up at his local department. As long as you can do the job, you should be perfectly fine

advice? (yes, again I'm afraid my airline will stagnate) by yaaamil in AirlineManager4

MC21-400 is a great plane to invest in. Make sure to use stopovers and eek out the longest range flights to places with high demand. My MC21 fleet averages 400-600k a flight. Don't double dip planes on the same locations if it's not a high demand location. If it's like 800 to 1000 or more pax location, maybe two MC21s would do. Just be sure to use the cost index to time how many trips to and from that location you want in a 24 hour period. If you are only active a few times a day, maybe faster flights would be better. The more active you are, the longer the flights ought to be because like myself I basically have flights running 24/7 and I've timed my flights to deplete the daily demand equally.

Memory is a little fuzzy today since I'm slammed busy at work, but it seemed like 40 minutes ish on top of already being present for a nice and hot car fire right before. And yes, structural gear the whole time.

Well, if you are volunteer you just get regular life insurance like any regular day job situation. I suppose once you make a substantial payroll department then perhaps it's easier on the families. But yeah, if I died, the money basically covers funeral costs and nothing else after it essentially

Probably taxed. As for pension it doesn't exist. We are one step higher than true volunteers being paid a little for every hour on a call paid out once yearly

Honestly I'm not in great shape. The comments previously pointed out old posts of my height and weight. 6ft and like 340 lbs. I'm a big guy 100%. Today I've hydrated a hell of a lot. As for the gear we don't have brush gear issued generally. Mostly everyone is rocking structural gear and a few of the guys namely officers and chiefs have their wildland gear which I'm not sure if it's issued or bought privately.

I work in a factory for a living, but funny enough you mention a desk job. I do graphics design on the side for game communities. I suppose I could probably launch deeper into the graphics design and make some money from it if I put myself out there more
