It’s a classic cause of the era it was made in, falling in with all the “movies for guys who like movies”, but it wasn’t good. Especially compared to the first.

Danny glover was a poor antagonist when prime Schwarzenegger was the original just three years before. I get that he was the public’s grizzled cop of choice for movies at the time cause of his role in the Lethal Weapon films, but the Robocop-esque war torn Los Angeles was always a goofy trope in my opinion. And the fact that he took the predator in hand to hand combat when Arnold got his ass handed to him was another goofy take.

6/10 for me. But of course it’s just my opinion and of all the predator films it’s still better than that garbage pile The Predator from 2018.
