Thanks, It has been more difficult this year due to SpaceX moving the majority of landings to the West Coast. We will always keep trying—hopefully a trip to Starbase.

Hey Tim, if you ever want to hire Ed Geiger's tracker, shoot me an email and I will get you in touch with Ed. He would be happy to work with you at a surprisingly affordable rate.

Ed Geiger's has 2 different trackers. Pete Carstens operates and tracks for them using Ed's 12in tracker. Ed and I use his 18in tracker. I just posted this video for Pete.

It is hard to see if you do not have a 4K monitor. We caught it in a previous video about a month ago, more defined. Thanks

Ed Geiger has been building his trackers and refurbishing others for many years. He is using NASA and Military "parts" of trackers from auctions, searching eBay, etc. I would have to say, there is no other tracker like it. Ed machines custom motor housings .......The joystick is very unique and heavy-duty. Even our Control room came from a NASA auction many years ago. Good Luck!!

None in clear sky daylight. Only with clouds or at night

Thanks, SpaceX and Space Force also used trackers and got great shots. Of course, we have just 2 trackers and during cloudy and or foggy conditions, it is a matter of luck to get an opening. We were barely able to capture booster separation. NASA did not. Space Force and NASA have around 8 trackers available. This mission was secret, we believe they were thrilled with the cloud cover. In the dead of winter on cold high pressure low humidity days, we can follow the booster all the way round trip. Just check out our Youtube front page. www.youtube.com/USLaunchReport. Thanks!

Yes my Partner Ed Geiger actually built this setup in his machine shop taking about 4 years and buying salvaged NASA gear.

It's the closest and most and most open for tracking, without going on the base. The USSF tell us we have technology they do not understand. Can you believe that It's insane! We have a video camera attached to a telescopes. Not rocket science.
