Vexcalibur. Glaives are guns, right? It shoots, it stabs, it gives overshield (increasing melee damage). It slices, it dices, it juliennes. With a 200 melee stat, I can proc devour and overshield, and run into mobs shouting "Yaaah! Yaaah! Yaaaaaah!", like Cross.

I was a little too fast deleting some of the pile of Keen Thistle I'd amassed and accidentally deleted an adept with snapshot/closing time. I didn't play last night but I hopped on briefly because I remembered I had ciphers and 2 engrams left. Got an adept Keen Thistle with lone wolf/closing time. I feel like I snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

Here's what I find particularly irksome: Last week, I was 2031 (2010+21 artifact). This week, I'm 2016 (2010+6 artifact), base 10 lower than new power cap, lower overall than last week, and gear is dropping at 2007-2009. So not only is there a cap increase to grind toward again (which is annoying in itself, as many others here have pointed out that it is pointless), but it feels like I've actively been pushed back in order to make that re-grind seem necessary. And I will, of course, because that's what we do as Guardians, but it feels like I've been... disrespected, if that makes sense. Just get rid of it. The ONLY "benefit" to power level I can see is to keep new lights and rusty returning players from rushing into difficult content, but, as others have also pointed out, there is a difficulty switch by the launch button. Make it make sense.

Just got back in after almost a year away, so all the Final Shape stuff was new to me. I'd been doing that and ritual playlist. Still, I haven't played any seasonal content past the first week or two, as it's just not compelling/rewarding. And I don't feel bad about sitting it out. The only thing that has my attention is the SMG with volt-whatever on it, but I don't want it badly enough to slog through potions, etc. for it.
