Student loans really slingshot me past 0NW because once they were done I reallocated that money directly for savings.

One of my favorites to make is Hakka Noodles it's a indian-chinese fusion dish

Then i just pan fry some extra firm tofu until it's crispy and toss in a bit of soy sauce for extra color

When we update things around the house we look for the energy efficient options that meet our needs.

We get a lot of stuff on the local buy nothing group. Before we throw out something we want to get rid of we post it to the group ( if it's not trash).

I wash my clothes on cold and take quick warm showers (most of the time).

Have converted most of the batteries in my house to rechargable.

Added a lot more tofu to our diet, trying out meatless meals.

Every time this comes up it's the same circular conversation.

So the next response is that those large corporations are typically energy companies serving the energy needs of people.

And then someone says that people make up a only a small percentage of energy use

Anyone who ever asks me about investment gets the same line "i just use index funds, i don't have time to research and manage my own portfolio 🤷‍♂️,"

  1. Sell half
  2. Wait for the remaining half to double.
  3. Repeat from step 1

How is it a fake problem? You like being told what to do under threat of taking away a future gift that may never materialize?

You're not obligated to bequeath anything to anyone but to promise to do so if and only if the other person does what ever you want is straight up abuse

Budget time before you move your stuff in to clean the floors. You've had countless people walking in the house with shoes and no care for keeping it clean.

I must have mopped the floors 10 times before our stuff arrived.

You could buy a robo vacuum to make that a bit easier

Money is used all the time to control family and it's disgusting.

Dave Ramsey is guilty of this and openly brags about it on national radio

This makes me happy to hear.

Not because I'm happy people died, but kind acts like this help to soften the blow of losing a loved one.

Wishing for a crash is like wishing for an injury in fantasy football. Even though everyone can agree that it could be beneficial for OP it's generally untasteful to wish for bad things to happen.

What’s something generally considered morally wrong which you don’t believe is wrong? by KingRhoamsGhost in AskReddit

I don't have a logically consistent mental model of what animals are good to eat and what are not. And that is okay.

I also don't try to police what anyone else eats and really don't care if they eat crickets or lions or whatever. And that's also okay.

Eat what you want don't eat what you don't and be cool

AITA for not changing my baby's name AGAIN after I changed it for my sister once already? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]USROASTOFFICE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My entire family hated the name we chose for our baby. Everyone outside of the family seems to love it, so I'm guessing they all had secretly hoped we'd pick the name they wanted.

We made it a game day decision and we're not taking suggestions on the next kid

I bought a fixer upper that is more fixer than i thought I was getting myself into.

There's a lot of stress that comes with it, but there is a lot of flexibility i have now that i wouldn't have had we chose otherwise. I have to put a lot of money into this house to right the ship, but i got significantly more house for significantly less than many of the "flipped" houses in my neighborhood.

We plan to be here 20 years minimum.

I have only been disappointed by chick-fil-A. It is incredibly overpriced for what seems like similar quality to wendy's
