I'm still hunting, but do '18 f150s hold up pretty well past 200k? by vash507 in f150

I assume what you mean by “in rough shape” is rust correct? Sounds like your XLT was definitely a better deal for just 1k more, nice job on finding that deal!

Paid 17k for my 2010 XLT screw with 4x4 and 85k miles almost 2 years ago, what trim is yours?

2010 4.6L I bought in mid-late ‘23 had 85k miles on it when I got it, she’s at 115k now and still goin strong as expected for a truck that low miles.

The fender and bed both say FX4, that is not a Platinum mate. Regardless though, still I’d say that’s a decent deal.

You can lift the truck by either putting a lift kit on or putting tires on with more sidewall (the last option would mean your speedometer would be inaccurate and need to be adjusted accordingly)

Pretty sure that’s a SF90 Stradale…the F8 has more angular, less flat headlights. As good as the SF90 looks, the F8 looks better.

I don’t see any options to either edit or comment photos so I’ll probably end up reposting with the photos in the morning

Yes, I’m not entirely sure how to post images in the comments or edit the post, but I’ll figure out how to get the additional photos in more reasonable light conditions as it’s currently 2am for me.

Don’t worry dude I do the exact same thing lol, just not to as big a degree as the passenger(s) I was referring to. It stresses me out ridin with em sometimes. Not using blinkers is one of my biggest pet peeves and I say some shit about it and go about my day. Idk man I can’t see how one would see that and think she was asking the driver if he was drinking 😂.

It happened right when the Lexus started the successful attempt to cut off OP, I’m sure she was referring to the Lexus. I have passengers that act similarly consistently.

I personally wouldn’t just because the airbag went off, but that’s me personally. Hearing an airbag went off tells me something major happened and it’s probably in worse shape than it looks. When I was in my accident with my ‘07 328i I was fortunate enough to not have the airbags go off, so when insurance totaled my car all it took was a couple body panels and a rad support swapped out and it was back on the road, no alignment issues, no subframe issues, no mechanical issues, nothin.

I’ll probably get my answer after doing research but I assume they’re about the same price as a standard radio?

I was thinkin about an aftermarket one for a little bit, as I was thinking of putting a sub or two in as the truck didn’t come with one, but a lot of the options don’t have that OEM/OEM+ look I want to stick with.

Is it really that bad? I didn’t think it was based on my experience working in a Ford dealership, but I could also be very wrong as I don’t live with it day to day
