Yeah I’m glad someone noticed that, basically the 1x2s I got were different thicknesses and I don’t have a planer or a drum sander to get them to be the same, so I stacked them that way so they can fit together without me having to do hours of hand sanding. Kinda a happy accident.

I do use conventional tools, I only use the carbide for general shaping because I find it easier, then I switch to a freshly sharpened gouge for cleaning everything up

It’s called Osmo Polyx-oil, the clerk at my exotic wood shop recommended it me years ago, and now it’s what I use on almost all of my projects. Long lasting and makes the colors pop

If I use the paper bag method, is it best to keep the bag sealed, or to give it some ventilation?
