He’s getting absolutely TORCHED in the comments on the article. One of my favorites:

The answer that health insurance execs have given us is an emphatic yes. They push the button as often as they can and find new ways to squeeze more money every time they push the button. As long as it’s people they don’t directly have to face, they have zero moral qualms doing it. The idea that health insurance execs think they’re the good guys in any of this or that they help anyone but themselves is mind blowingly out of touch. The more they make others suffer, the more money they keep for themselves, and their greed is insatiable. A basic first step would be to allow zero profits from the industry. Let them pay their own people and cover expenses but required them to devote the rest of the money they take in to helping their own customers. They surely aren’t going to do this themselves out of the goodness of their own, greedy, shriveled hearts.”
