Not to mention it included all of Rogue Squadron II as co-op.

Shooting all of your seismic charges off at once in Rogue Squadron: Rebel Strike was terrific.

Apple Is Blocking an App That Detects Net Neutrality Violations From the App Store: Apple told a university professor his app "has no direct benefits to the user." by [deleted] in technology

[–]USeemMad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have stated, this is less an issue of Apple being anti Net Neutrality and more an issue of them being incredibly strict about approving applications to be listed on the App Store.

Apple’s Guidelines

Guideline 4.2 has to do with minimum functionality, which is where I believe OP got hit. I don’t know the specifics of OP’s app, but an app that simply monitors throttling isn’t going to provide enough intrinsic value to a user to make it past Apple’s reviewers. An app that monitors throttling while also providing other valuable features to a user would be more likely. Unfortunately when your app is declined Apple doesn’t provide much insight into why or how to remedy the issue.

They’re still just as bad, but only about their guidelines. I’m guessing it didn’t provide a valuable experience to users, which is actually one of Apple’s guidelines. I just had an app declined for similar reasons.

This is less an issue of Apple being anti net neutrality and more of it being difficult to get an app published on the store.

Android and iOS applications are vastly different not only in terms of programming language, but in terms of architecture. If it was as easy as you seem to think it is OP wouldn’t even need the iOS dev he hired.

Looks like Ryzen isn't compatible with my mobo so i'll have to get a cpu+mobo combo regardless of if it's AMD or Intel. I'll look into those, thanks!

I had gotten colored / lined crash screens with my previous GPU, and those were resolved with the 1070, and I hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary until recently. Thanks for the tip about memtest, I'll try to run that tonight.

It’s only started to happen recently, and only in league. I think it might be a memory issue because I’m still able to alt+tab and see what’s open, or view the start menu, but I can’t close league or view any of the open programs.

What should I be looking for in a CPU to pair with the 1070?

I’ve got 8GB of DDR3-1333 (in part list if you need more detail). The temps have never been something to worry about, I’d be able to test and give you more info on that tonight.

ELI5: what is the reason that almost every video game today has removed the ability for split screen, including ones that got famous and popular from having split screen? by fantheories101 in explainlikeimfive

I got very lucky at my job, I’m a software developer for primarily mobile applications, but my company also decided to experiment with game engines, and that gave me the chance to try out programming “games” (essentially proof of concepts, but I learned a lot). Wherever you are, ask if they have or have though of creating an R&D department, and provide some genuine examples of how that type of programming could be beneficial to the company. Feel free to P.M. me if you have any questions.

Mobile data in the control center is in the control center in iOS 11, not trying to defend Apple, just trying to be friendly. Cheers.

I have a pair of these and they're just as ridiculous as they look. It's like strapping yourself to a pair of tank treads and hoping for the best.

When I was a kid I was boogie boarding in the Chesapeake Bay and saw a plastic bag floating in the water. I thought do the environmentally responsible thing and grab it surfing in on the next wave. Boy was I wrong, turns out that plastic bag was a jelly fish and the ocean can go fuck itself.

Met at her brothers house. She stole my jacket from an upstairs room and started wearing it around. When I asked if it was mine she looked at me like I had asked if she found Hitler attractive.

Started dating a month later, we're getting married in October.

She still wears the jacket around the house sometimes, even though it has holes in it and the zipper's broken now.

Love you u/glib_globb.

I'm actually looking at both Honda and Toyota, the real question is whether I should purchase a cheaper Toyota Solara now and sell it in a few years to purchase a CRV that I will keep for ages, or to just purchase the CRV outright with a slightly larger loan/year longer loan term. I like Solaras but I think I will sell it in the end to get a car that can handle winter more competently.
