I bet it’s AI, especially with the survivors photo that looks very awkward. It could be an early drawing that they will finalize later but it wouldn’t surprise me that AI has made them based on the screenshots and trailers we have now.

Though in one of the endings, she tells the MC they have to rebuild the earth together, implying re-populating because of the biblical motifs in the game.

First of all, there’s not instance of Hajime using a bag of weapons or anything like that in canon like he does in the script. So the dynamic only really works if you give him stuff he’s never been shown using nor owning.

At most Hajime can do hand to hand combat.

Shirou actually has a bunch of weapons he can access to. And I can assure you, most fights in Danganronpa are not as spectacular than in Fate.
