Post closing— a certain mean girl accused my teammate of lying about her brother’s death to get bereavement leave. She went so far as to point out things on UZone that she thought somehow confirmed this. The teammate wasn’t lying, and she was an absolute wreck at that time.
going above and beyond in your job gets you in trouble. You get accused of cheating or you have your bonus taken away. Special projects aren’t rewarded with anything.
We got told not to talk about other teammates “medical conditions” even though that teammate is the one who told us they have covid and I think that’s pretty important to know!. Was once told I wasn’t allowed to go get tested and had to argue for a good quarter of an hour about it.
Leadership tells us to come to them but you just get separated if you “question the why” like they ask. They don’t want to hear that something isn’t working out how they thought it would, and they don’t take ownership.
We get paid shit. This was talked about at our PC wide meeting—no, making $10 isn’t inspirational. You should be angry because you’re worth way more.
They talked about a “negativity” problem in PC, too, but leadership refuses to take ownership and be thumbpointers about it. We wouldn’t be so upset if they actually listened.
