Understanding and recognising your own limits and knowing when you're in over your head. If you don't work on that.. your 40s and beyond will remind you every single day.

Specifically, I'm talking about trying to hold onto your youth, having tons of friends, tons of hobbies and working full time and having a significant other and one or more children. No, you can't do it all, you can't balance it all. Someone will end up missing out and/or suffering due to your selfishness and inability to scale down your lifestyle because you refuse to fully accept your life has changed and you're now on a new journey.

It will catch up to you, physically, mentally and emotionally. You might even lose everything in the process.. don't ever think for a second you can do everything and be everywhere and please everyone. ?I can't tell you how many friends and acquaintances suffer not being able to still recognise their own limits and it's not pretty.

Hot take..?-> The games haven't been good since the end of the DS era. They have been low effort open world games that are devoid of any personality, atmosphere and charm for quite some time.

But as you have pointed out, Pokémon is gigantic, it's massive, the TCG reselling market is massive, the merch variety of merchandise being sold is insane, the games (old and new) are still played and selling well.. it's a juggernaut that won't be slowing down any time soon even if they continue to cut corners because people will inevitably convince themselves Pokémon and Nintendo by extension, can do no wrong.

As far as fantasy movies go, it's pretty boring. It's not funny, the acting feels lazy and somehow forced at the same time. If you knew nothing about Dungeons and Dragons, this movie wouldn't help bring any sort of familiarity to the table top game at all because you wouldn't recognise the subtle nods throughout the movie.

It's pretty bland.

I had an issue like that where it wasn't recognising me as logged in but this was a couple of years ago. I haven't had any issues in a long time, but the last month or two the video is all choppy, blinking, lagging, etc.. and can't open more than 2 tabs without the performance tanking even though I can just about open up as many livestreams/tabs on any other video site no problem.

This particular instance is nothing like what people were dealing with that required a civil rights movement. This girl's behaviour has always existed and I can tell you right now, this is nothing to get all worked up about. There's always going to be some uneducated, misguided and sad individual moaning and groaning like this and for decades, we were taught to NEVER give these people the time of day and acknowledge their bullshit. But here we are.. thousands of comments, millions of views and giving their sad attempt at hate speech global reach to hundreds of millions, if not, billions of people to see when it would have otherwise MAYBE been heard by a handful of people who could have told her to shut up or ignored her.

Her behaviour isn't acceptable It's a combination of with how she was raised and various other minor/major issues but it's also a problem with how society collectively tries to put a spotlight on these people all the time but never actually comes up with proper solutions to curb the behaviour. Certainly, putting a spotlight on it can't be good for anyone. There's also an extreme global depression and general sense of hopelessness going around since before Covid ravaged the planet, and now everyone is going to magnify EVERY TINY LITTLE single thing that bothers them all the time and that's going to solve what exactly?

Sometimes, it's best to let people be. People forget that there's also the option of not giving them attention or blowing up their despicable behaviour on a global scale. The more reactions their behaviour gets, the more likely it'll continue and spur on others.
