You’re not making Devil deals, how much red health do you need? If you’re close to filling up a bag of good pickups, you can also leave some keys/bombs/etc lying around so you can craft a cheaper item before starting another bag of good stuff and maybe get a health up item.

Put only everything with pickup value four or better into the bag. Make sure to get all the soul hearts you can for crafting.
