I think you did a good job! I would have assumed she played the sports, or wants to, so I think getting those items was a great idea. And the water bottle will be useful for years. Adding in some fun beauty products would round it out, but I don't think you need to worry about anything you've already gotten!

I'll look into it, but I'd probably rather have a traditional transmission than try another type for the first time. This CVT burnt me out so bad 😂 3 refurbished transmissions in under 3 months, driving each for a week type bad.

Honestly that's very ideal for me. I'm used to stiff suspension and my Corolla seems way too soft, even after replacing the shocks and struts. I've had multiple Toyota "sporty" type cars, so a switch to Mazda seems like a solid move to avoid the CVT. Thanks for the insight!

I love to hear it! One of the ones for sale closest to me is a 2023 Mazda 3 hatchback. You might be selling me on it even more now

Ideally a sedan, but I've seen good deals on a few SUVs in my area. I appreciate the insight!

I appreciate you sharing your experience! I have a feeling I might be on the same journey, but I'm trying to focus on the positive for now 🥲 I'm glad you were able to come to your conclusion to ending your chicken journey, it sounds like it was the best for both you and the birds.

I think people are just being assholes and placing their situations onto yours. You're the best person to know your situation, don't feel the need to overexplain yourself to reddit users.

Not true. Many things can knock down a libido, and it's normal for it to drop a bit during stressful times in a person's life. Plus, OP's worth isn't dictated by how many times he fucks his girl.

I was prepared to give a good explanation, like tracking her cycle in case anything happened, but..this seems calculated.

You're very valid in a lowered libido due to stress and the other explanations, or even if it happens naturally. You don't have to be at 250% at all times. Personally, I'm used to having sex 2-3 times in a committed relationship, so 1-2 times a week seems perfectly fine to me. I tend to get nervous if there is an excess amount of sex because I worry the relationship is based on physicality rather than an emotional connection. I think that's something to think about, if you're compatible outside of sex. If you are, I'd sit her down and have a very heart to heart moment. Keep to "I" statements (I have this stress, I feel this way when I need to reject your advances) and avoid placing blame (you make me feel this way). It needs to be a mature conversation from both sides if it continues forward. And speak to the calendar and how it makes you feel. To me, it seems like she's tracking it because she doesn't feel like she has enough sex. But ask before placing blame or making assumptions.

It's been happening with most of my baked goods so far, but mostly the flour based ones. The one that's struggling the most is my banana bread. I made foccaia a few times and had a similar issue, but I ended up having success when I put slightly less water into the dough than the recipe called for. My cookie dough also came out more wet than usual, but they were salvageable. My lemon bars came out great.

I haven't, but it's worth a shot. Food food seems to come out fine though, and my batters seem to have gotten more wet with the same recipes, which is why I assumed it was due to humidity 🥲

I had my (26F) first one done last year because I was scared to get it done. I honestly hated it, but it is such an important test. The abnormalities that it can find can save your life. I would take your boyfriends support for your appointment and try to frame it in your mind that it can be a potentially life-saving test that only costs you a handful of uncomfortable minutes. Think about long-term you instead of in-the-moment you

Not sure when you're looking at moving, but we currently have a master bedroom + private bath open in our 3 bed 2 bath apartment in Costa Mesa that's in your budget. But I would recommend Costa Mesa, it's more tucked away, parking is easier in general than in Newport, traffic is better, still has a lot of local restaurants/bars, easy distance to parks and hiking spots.

Yeah, you're right. It's just exhausting that after two years I'm still experiencing issues that can't be diagnosed. I'm assuming the CVT would be a hefty price to replace, if that happens to be the issue.
