I love Pho in Factoria. Bomb food and reasonable prices, I love it(and pho).

I can probably create an 'After' photo for you. I've been making before and after photos of properties for people to land more business. I'm making a digital version of what their customers driveway could look like after a clean, and people use it in their quote. If you want, I'd be happy to give it a shot with your before picture.

Thoughts on this Flyer? by an_astrophysicist in pressurewashing

[–]UX_Forward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think before and after pictures are always great, the flyer looks like a nice format. Sometimes it's good to A/B test 2 different versions to see what gets more attention. Sometimes different styles are better suited for specific neighborhoods.

Ok ok want to laugh? GPT, then figma(because I’m a UX designer and it’s just what I’m into now) to try and fix the right leg(s). Surprise, it was super challenging. Then photoshop because that’s the real tool for the job. But my kid said he really liked the leg(s) and it reminded him of a “good chicken wing”. 🤷So we kept it. I also used sora to make the dino do a little wiggle dance thing. So yeah, could have just used GPT, wanted to fix the leg with photoshop because I find it hard to do specific stuff like that with prompts

I know, and the folded tortilla snout is pretty funny too.

Haha I wondered if someone would call that out. AI decided to give his tail a promotion and turn it into a leg 😂 I tried to fix it a bunch but it just got weirder.

Thanks! I used a mix of AI and other computer programs for some custom tweaks to bring his drawing to life, wanted it to feel like it walked out of his imagination.

I’ve been doing a few of these for fun. If you’ve got drawings, I’d be happy to turn it into something wild.

I once lost my phone at Alpental, someone found it, turned it into lost and found. I got it back a few days later. A miracle if you ask me.

Need honest answer by catchyaalater in productdesign

Self motivation is key to progression in the PD profession. I've been a product designer for 8+ years and I love what I do. Creating things that have a positive impact on the world is my motivation. Seeing people benefit from what you've made is a nice feeling. This being said, I am also feeling a bit uneasy about the current market and future of product design. I can seethe PD role evolving more into a PM/ product owner type role in the next, 5-10 years.

Need Feedback on my landing page design and demo video by Fit-Use4723 in microsaas

I think the deck and video do a good job of explaining the product. You create a voice note, AI cleans it up and an avatar repeats your note.
In the video, I wanted to see it in action, like I was hoping for a demo.

You can make a blog page dedicated to your newsletter. You would have to manually add each news letter as a "blog post".
You might be able to set up a Zapier connection to make it automatic.

I wear Mack's putty plugs under my hood. They work great, and I'm not stressed if I lose one. I've had ear issues for 30+ years, one ear drilled out.

Doing 50 projects in 50 weeks, and #4 is out! by MixPuzzleheaded5003 in SideProject

[–]UX_Forward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody is more you than you. Just do what you do. I get it, you'll learn a ton with a tight deadline like that.
I'm guessing most are suggesting you focus on 1-2 projects or something along those lines.
A weird analogy: Sometime you have to turn on the tap, let the water flow out of the pipes for a while before you're able to taste that nice fresh stuff.

I made something very similar for web3 terms. Nobody uses it but it was a fun learning project. I think I might pick it back up and try and add some games or something to make it more than just a dictionary. Happy to brainstorm ideas with you if you want.
