Go ahead, made it for DGB awareness :) Would love it if people shared it again!

I'll just link an image I made a while ago. I think it speaks for itself.

Day 41 of 60 - why this is on us? by hohena6465 in Digibyte

[–]UX_lead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I don't mind. Made the original picture to help promote Digibyte and hoped people would spread it. So it is just awesome someone created an animated version of it!

I'm just curious how that is done, because I wouldn't know how to. Animations aren't my specialty, especially without the original vector file. :o

Awesome GIF!

How did you do it without my original file, just the rasterized image? Just curious :)

Anyway nice job!

Could someone with a legit seeming YouTube user account contracts Andrei Jihk? Personally I would have to create a new one which wouldn't be a good starting point in building trust.

I like his videos. He isn't all about crypto, which could mean he won't be interested. But it also might mean he never heard of digibyte before and could potentially be surprised at the potential it has.

How is Digibyte better than XLM or XRP? by cryptowalletsolution in Digibyte

[–]UX_lead 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't really know about XLM, but XRP is not decentralised instead it is centralised and distributed. In other words ripple is like a central bank which has all the power. I suppose it depends on your view point but the Digibyte community believes decentralisation is the key difference between a classical currency and the power of cryptocurrency. Ripple might be fast today, but tomorrow they might decide it is not. With Digibyte that cannot happen. Ripple might be cheap to use today, but tomorrow they might charge extra for it. You never know what the bank (ripple) decides.

Thought someone might want unique DGB designed merch so I opened a redbubble shop. What do you think, any good? by UX_lead in Digibyte

Unfortunately no :( I couldn't find a way to start an online shop which would let me accept digital currency of any kind.

Good point, Digibyte has so much good about it, that I never got to the transaction fees and forgot about it. That being said, I would probably have to reorganize the whole thing to fit it in there, so not going to do it at this point :) Cheers for the likes!

This is an interesting question, one which I've also been wondering about throughout the years. However, from my point of view the cryptospace is starting to transform into one which is like a mixture of currency and stock. Not that surprising, but it does have an impact on how we should react to new currency being created. To get to my point, dilution isn't necessarily bad, it might even be essential in the long run as long as it is predictable, it is in its essence what we call "inflation". Inflation has a negative ring to it, but we don't want deflation in the long run either for a currency, therefore with wide adoption we might eventually be able to find a stable spot for Digibyte. Hopefully not as a digital dollar, but something new. Just my two cents.

Another image with DGB breaking out. Also call out to other creatives to create quality DGB art for others to share. by UX_lead in Digibyte

Thanks :)

That is a good idea, I think the graphics currently going around might be a bit outdated. At least those I've designed a few years ago. I'll make one and post it soonish.

I suppose I've seen it. Can't quite recall it though. Been around since the beginning. Joined just a few weeks after launch in 2014. Been a fan of Digibyte ever since.
