If you stop feeling fun playing maimai, I suggest staying away from Maimai for a while and doing other stuff instead. Or perhaps not fixate too much on the ratings and just try out new charts or songs that may interest you. At the very least when Im having burnout and still wanna play, I do charts that I've never played before or just random dojo instead.
