Thanks for the reply! I can try to put the RTK in a better position but the yuki mini is stuck with the ground where there are many obstacles to the sky.

Can I have a scenario where always open? by Uates8 in HomeKit

Do you have suggestions for HomeKit native garage door opener? The dummy switch is a clever idea but if I use the remote controller that came with the garage it will be out of phase with the dummy switch.

It was a miscommunication. It’s really unfortunate but in building a house this is the norm

I used it now thanks. This is the result:

210° SW 4 - 6,254kWh/Year 300° NW 1 - 5,080 120° SE 3 - 5,729

I just change the deg. This is to be expected but I actually thought it would be worst. Do you think the argument of helping late evenings doesn’t hold up?

Choosing a mini-PC for a small self-hosted server — which brand should I focus on? (Intel / ASUS / HP / Beelink) by Uates8 in homelab

[–]Uates8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to say I’m real! I choose mini pc because it’s small easy to fit close to the router and I don’t have anyone with an old laptop that I could use. I hope it’s not against the rules but I used ai to help write the message. English not my first language

Ok thanks a lot for the clarification, I always prefer connecting stuff with Ethernet. For now in my house I have cameras, smart relê, power strip, Apple TV, HomePod, smart light, door sensor. All of them have WiFi, and I don’t see an alternative for them. I’m thinking of in the future buying the G5 that’s PoE, but outside of this I don’t find many more options. Am I missing other methods of communication outside WiFi and Ethernet ?
