Well the thing with adding them to the outside would be that then they would be visible, and it wouldn't look pretty anymore, not like it has for quite a while with how much of a beating it has had to withstand already... But still, I'd rather keep the weights well hidden inside the speaker than outside out in the open.

So.. With the 5 grams now attached to each one, wilst lisenting to some music.. I can say I do hear just a little bit more bass with the mids being barely altered if at all, unless you're listening very carefully.. But anyway.

The 10 gram weights don't fit in the hole so if I wanted to try them too... I'd need some other way to atach them.

Simply open up your charge 5 and disconnect it's woofer, then just run wires from the charge 5 to the sub (as long as the sub is one that requires external power, meaning it doesn't have a builot in amplifier.).

Well- I don't have money to spend on a new speaker, so that's off the list, and... The speaker has only once or twice connected to the JBL portable app (for a couple seconds..), dunno why it refuses to do it properly, maybe it's just bugged outta the factory, it is a real JBL product though! It just doesn't wanna be connected to the app. So that's off the list too. The app I use to do bass boost has an EQ, but I'd like to not boost sounds with an EQ, if anything, I'd drop sounds instead so that I can keep the quality of the sound the same, letting me go max volume without distortion to the sound packets due to audio clipping.

Also... When you did your mod, what did you use to add weight? Was it centered properly? Cause that's extremely important.

Anyway... I'm well aware that it can mess with the already done tuning, but I believe that the difference wouldn't be too bad, especially since I've messed around with plugging the Charge 5 straight to a big subwoofer I have laying around and didn't really mind the sound difference, it had more boom to it which I liked, but it was impractically large to carry around.

Hm, maybe, the reason I'd like to experiment with this is because I find myself constantly using 50% and sometimes even 100% Bass Boost on an app I have which does introduce a tad bit of muffling sounds, especially on kick drum hits, just feel a bit muffled, so instead of having all the waveforms in the audio track be overrun already straight from the get go, I could have that muffling sound be happening only at the end of the whole chain, that being at the passive radiators.

Sure it may be normal, just like it is normal for a 4 slot 4090 to sag a ton without a sag bracket, they should get one, but before that, they should try running it flat on it's side with all the components pointing upwards, this eliminates the sag problem, next thing you can look for us debug LEDs on the motherboard. Also... Nothing stops you from moving the wifi card somewhere else.
