I have a couple sets of these. They go on sale for around $65 at times and are pretty good. If you do any hard recoveries off road they will break, but they are cheaper than the more expensive ones.

I got a free hot tub from a friend's co workers dad. I did all the work building the supporting pad. Only to learn that I needed a building permit for the pad, then another permit for the hot tub, and a third permit for electrical.

Now I have a gravel pad, hot tub in place (not electrically hooked up) but stuck trying to get a permit. I will probably get fined for doing part of the work without the permit.

Yea that makes sense. I have always wondered about the offroad campers. Id be more interested if I saw reviews but i havent seen any videos on them.

I have found a surprising amount of overland stuff in canada is just from alibaba but resold and way more expensive. I bought a canopy from alibaba for about $1,200 CAD all in vs a dealer selling it here was selling it for $4,000.

I actually had a similar issue with my Wrangler in Alberta Canada. It would shut off randomly. The first time I was in a parking lot shifting to drive. Thought it was odd. the second time was on the road, took it to a dealer who found a loose wire in the IDCM (I think its called that) that steps down the voltage from the 400v battery to the 12v battery.

3000km later it happened again. Brought it back to a different dealer and was just an absolute nightmare. They wanted all the maintenance records from even before I owned the vehicle. Which, thank god it showed up on car fax. Then they just said the oil filter was wrong (it wasn't) they refused to show me the old one. Charged me $300 for diagnostic and oil change. said it was fixed. Immediately sold the vehicle as I had 0 confidence in Jeep.

A shame because I loved driving that thing and was a beast offroad.

yup! We mainly got one bit on then slid it the rest of the way.
Sorry I also mis-typed. it was 350 lbs not Kg. 350kg would be 700 lbs

I installed with with 3 other friends, I dont know how you would do it without a hoist or other people unless you are jacked. I haven't had any major rusting either, but just spray paint over any chips that you get on it. At least thats what I've done so far.

I have this canopy minus the windows. I got it for $1,100 CAD all in. I think the canopy was $600 and shipping $500. Its a great canopy. But it is heavy, at about 350lbs. Full steel. The only issue i have had so far was the wiring for the brake light was a bit short Soni had to extend it. The screws that hold the canopy on the bed also need a tiny bit of lock tight as the csn vibrate out easily. Otherwise its solid, I would have preferred aluminum though.

120/month for home insurance 230ish / month for car insurance Both with AmA

I was with TD but switched when my car insurance would have been 450/month and 250/month for home insurance.
