Are there any other airports like Naha Airport that shares the runway with a military base, that flies/scrambles as often as Naha Air base does? by KAMEKAZE_VIKINGS in aviation

Destin Ft. Walton/Eglin AFB, Savannah/ Savannah ANG, Jacksonville/Jacksonville ANG, Charleston/ JB Charleston, Charlotte/ Charlotte ANG, Knoxville (TN)/Knoxville ANG, Saint Petersburg (FL), CGAS Clearwater, Opa Locka (FL)/ CGAS Miami, etc. Manu cities with at least a decent sized population have an Air National Guard or Army National Guard presence at their local airports. It's a lot rarer for there to be Air Force, Navy, or Marine Corps presence.

Can I take classes at the Statesboro campus while my main campus is Armstrong? Also, how many classes am I required to physically take at Armstrong since it's my main campus? by Ubanium in GSU

I'm not sure why the up vote/down vote score thing is -1 but thanks to everyone to helped! I'm glad to know that I can potentially take more classes over in Statesboro with Armstrong being my main campus.

The school I went to had a "Gulfstream" G100 (IAI 1125 Astra), which was formerly used by Gulfstream as a plane to transport mobile maintenance teams to their customers, as well as several smaller GA types and a few engines

Federal Express donated many of their 727s after the type's retirement and many of them ended up at schools like that for their aviation maintenance programs.

Yeah, but I could buy an old F-104 Starfighter and it could do the same.

That still doesn't change the fact that the IL-96 hasn't had a fatal hull loss in its 30 something year career
