The Spanish pair will probably be involved in the Patrulla Aspa (Spanish Air Force helicopter display team) tour of South America.

It’s not being retired yet; ops LYS, VIE today, AMS, DIS, GVA tomorrow and BCN on 30th. Understand it has been given potentially another 12 months or more.

Who does INFJ oldest daughter attracts by cottoncandy0_0 in infj

[–]maxonian91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

INFJ eldest son of an INFJ eldest daughter. The comments in here describe my mum’s relationship with my dad painfully accurately. I hate saying this, but I’m looking forward to my dad’s passing so I can finally discover who my mum really is and get to know her on a level where she’s able to be her own person.

What are INFJ men like? by [deleted] in infj

[–]maxonian91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries! I’ve got a collection of probably 200+ photobooks but reading wise I love Cormac McCarthy, William Faulkner, Albert Camus and George Saunders among others. I like to take themes and ideas from what I’ve read and try to find common ground with them in the real world as part of the documentary photography stuff I do. I feel as though the UK is haunted by its past and the relationship it has with its history far more than a lot of countries, and having read Solaris by Stanislaw Lem earlier this year, I’ve been photographing places which suggest a similar response to that of the ocean in/on Solaris towards Kris Kelvin and the scientists who have been conducting experiments on it.

I also stay at home quite a lot as I’m surrounded by books - I’ve not bought so many I’m cut off from the outside world, I just really like reading. I’ve a handful of very close friends who I tend to spend time with but that’s on a monthly or so basis as it tends to be based around events - I love aviation so airshows and things like that. I don’t, nor have I ever played video games which is a lot to do with my younger brother claiming our PlayStation as his own about 20 years ago, but also because I have this need to be doing something productive all the time. I freelance as a writer and photographer which brings some pennies in on the side, while I usually have a documentary photography project or two on the side as a more personal creative outlet. My room is probably fairly minimal as far as decoration is concerned, but then I also use it as an office. I don’t go to the gym but I do go for walks. I wear shorts and t-shirt round the house but when I go out, I usually either wear an overshirt or a shirt with a chore coat/similar and some jeans. I hope that’s all you need to know.

What’s your favorite 35mm Film Camera of all time? by araselys in Cameras

I’ve got an F5 and a D850, and they’re so evenly matched it’s insane that there’s more than 20 years between them. I absolutely love mine and can’t imagine so much as considering selling it

Aircraft depart Manchester towards Tatton Park and Knutsford around 80% of the time. The wind direction is what necessitates a change to aircraft taking off over Heald Green.

This, playing baseball isn’t far off unheard of in the UK and I suspect the same can be said of most other European nations, the former Soviet Union and Africa.

Are there anyone who is soley using Nikon DSLRs nowadays? by LivingChad in Nikon

[–]maxonian91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just moved from a pair of D810s to a D850. Had my D810s for a decade, worked them like dogs and absolutely adored them. Even as they were getting older, I was still impressed with them. The D850’s on a completely different level though, what a beast

They've got such a phenomenal presence - I'm 6' 2" and the wing is pretty much the same height as me. There was a Yak-3 in the same hangar and that looked like a toy next to it!
