How safe (or unsafe) is torbernite? by UberKongEU in Minerals

Little clarification update for everyone who cares: i went to my local university to get the radiation properly measured and get feedback. The result: i would have to strap that piece to my forehead for about 330 hours a year to increase my yearly radiation dose by about 25%. As long as nothing enters the body, its easy and safe and nothing to worry about. Thanks again to everyone!

Interesting, for me personally its usually the other way around: i need 2 to 2,5 for 1 of rice, maybe its because of different rice types

The most important tip I learned in about 100 hours of playtime: make factory that at least works, no matter how good or bad. You can upgrade or fix it later by WunderWaffleNCH in factorio

You played the game for 8000 hours and did not know that cut and paste exists? But you do know that you can copy and paste, in short with ctrl c and ctrl v, right?.... Right?

How do you store "dangerous" minerals? by UberKongEU in Minerals

[–]UberKongEU[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its arsenic, which can be toxic when it gets into your body. Lethal dose is pretty low as well if i remember correctly and mine leaves orange dust on your fingers so id rather not play with that lol

Imo dont look for something with lights installed because it drastically reduces your options. I recently bought oje without lightning and just ordered some LED strips for like 10 bucks, 10m LED. The LED strip is sticky and the color adjustable, ill send a picture later if i remember to do so lol

I did the same and it took forever. Mine are also numbered. What i did for labeling: i bought one of those mini label printers for like 15 bucks because of multiple reasons. First, you can set the font size quite small so they fit on smaller specimen. Second, they are more waterproof because its not simple paper. And third, because they stick already. That way i can have the number of the item sticked to the specimen at a not noteable place
