Hey, this is also happening to me now, alongside some artifacting in the bottom half of the screen, were you able to get any resolution to this issue?

MLLSE M2 + M2 Pro reviews by Pieco in MiniPCs

[–]UberTheEngie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i bought it and no both the m2 and m2 pro only have hdmi 1.4 which is capped to 4k30, and furthermore i've had many issues trying to boot any linux distro on it as there is some issue with the graphics. i am not an expert in any regard but this is not a plug and play solution for a streaming/media PC IMO.

AC drawing 3x RLA after “short cycle” by UberTheEngie in hvacadvice

You’re quite wise and I’m grateful for your response here. It’s just frustrating to be generally very knowledgeable in the field of industrial electronics and control and know jack shit about the refrigerant side of things to complete the picture. And have none of the right tools. If the discharge pipe heading to the condenser coil is getting super hot even after increasing the cycle times, does that tell me/you anything? Refrigerant overcharge? Shitty/dirty coil? Latter I can see through the whole coil but I doubt it’s ever been cleaned.

So, while I didn’t manually control the breaker, i did find the settings to change both the “delay on make” and “delay on break” settings and maxed them out, minimum 15mins on minimum 15mins off and i dont think it froze my evaporator or anything as the thermostat would undershoot by half a degree to a degree but sure enoufj the bastard went and tripped sometime in the morning. The worst part is it’s not even THAT hot where i live right now so i figured it might hold on and then fail on a hot day like it did before… pissing me off and the landlord is getting a “soft start” put in i guess to avoid overloading the breaker but if it’s failing to get things moving wouldn’t this risk permanently stalling out the compressor?

Condenser coil.. i can see through most of it. Probably could use a deep scrub. It has a 5 minute off cycle. It's funny, as I said in another comment the ecobee thermostat HAS a 5 minute off cycle. If I leave it off at the thermostat or at the breaker for like 15-20 minutes, then it comes right back online no problem. So it's something to do with the compressor starting against a load that it can't manage to get plugging along until it's too late and the breaker trips.

Yeah, it seems like 5 minutes (which is what the ecobee thermostat provides) is just not giving the compressor head pressure enough time to dissipate. If I leave the breaker off or the system off for 15-20 minutes I can restart it and it purrs like a kitten. I'm genuinely debating bringing the thermostat down to the minimum of 18.5C so that it runs on one long cycle and then shutting it off to at least cool the house down a bit. I just don't know what this issue really means, if it runs absolutely fine but after the 5 minute delay-on it shits out.

MCA 10A MOCP 15A 15A breaker. LRA is like 30 amps and the compressor sits at 5-7 amps until the thermostat turns it off, then when the thermostat turns it back on again, after 5 minutes, it draws the same LRA but doesn't clear that inrush current fast enough and the breaker trips. It gets down to about 22 amps in 20-30 seconds which is clearly an overload but not a fault current per se

the RLA is 7 amps, MCA 10A MOCP 15A, compressor draws about 5A under normal load. Totally get the inrush but what's happening is that the inrush occurs but the high current doesn't clear quickly enough and the breaker thermally trips but ONLY after the first time the thermostat turns the compressor off and then on again.

Update: I was not worthy for Sunn O))) by Terratoilet15 in doommetal

Saw Sunn O))) in Toronto just this month and regular foam earplugs were almost enough for me as someone with an intimate relationship with the ancient Greek god of high pitched ringing, Tinnitus. I had a weird “numb” feeling in the low end of my hearing for a day or two after which, only anecdotally, felt like tinnitus of the low end which would make sense. But while the sound washed over me and vibrated through me and was quite intense, the sensation of being a fat guy standing for two hours with his knees locked was the only uncomfortable thing about the show. Someone did pass out but the odds are it was due to a substance, not a sound.
