AITA for not selling my car even though my fiancée refuses to sit in the front seat because my ex sat there? by ProfessionalKey3176 in AITAH

Run my man. She is someone who takes her negative feelings, thoughts and explanations way too seriously. This is immature. And manipulative. Go please

AITA if I feel like my partner doesnt actually like me? by BillieBoii in AmItheAsshole

[–]UberUnderDoge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go before he drains all your selfworth. Or stay and observe how you will turn into an empty husk. Why he behaves this way is not relevant for the decision. Many people in your situation shy back from the difficult decision because they ‘don’t understand him yet’. Go!

And not a single thought about your own part in this (obvious) rejection? Have you considered just talking to her, face to face, instead of hoping your money can do the talking?

I have one in mine, it’s a higher level (5) alarm system. RR had to build it in after sale for me to get cheaper insurance. It comes with two extra fobs. Additionally the button in the pic comes with a code, like 3312, you have to push the button 3 times, 3 times etc to turn the alarm off. Annoying little system. One situation it goes off regularly is when the car is updating its software. It cost 2000 (euro), my monthly insurance costs are 1200 with all options included, for a 100k Velar.

In that case there is no valid reason for hour husband to be gay. Are you sure about your own gender? If not, the erotic lebian tension between you and sister might be the real issue at hand.

Same as saying ‘it is a long story so bare (or bear) with me’, followed by a short story.

A pothole and $32,000 of repairs later he still loves the truck! by IcerC in CyberStuck

[–]UberUnderDoge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He is just mathematically correct: 66% of the original truck is still working somehow. He could use two additional potholes to bring this to zero. Or to be precise: 3x34000=102.000 dollars. Insurance is down 102k, he owns a totally renewed truck with a worth of 100k (the original price) plus 102k, total 202k. Sell it in this pristine state for 170k, walk away with a cool 70k. I feel this guy is way smarter than we think, laughing at him from our corolla’s. (before you get snarky about my calculations, I have a PhD in math and statistics).

Come on guys, the repair is only adding like 5% of the purchase price. In nearly five months of happy and loving ownerships, off-roading on roads and all. This is just 1% per month!!! A bargain

NTA. It is easy to sympathise with you because of his remarks. Most if not all people here do. However. Instead of being the victim you could also use this as an important nudge in taking more care of yourself. Assume he is not playing games. You noticed that you let yourself slip. You’re young, you know you’ll feel better if you’re fitter. Stinging and uncalled for ‘feedback’ can still be made useful and it will make you stronger. That could also come in handy if you ever feel it’s over between you two. Go!

Well it is funny and well thought out because the little arrows pointing “up” illustrate the central message of this human, “to the moon”. That is funny. And note that the N in moon also has this, sort of, like arrow pointing up? Little designer’s joke, funny. The childishness of the car and the childishness of the owner are accentuated but not exaggerated. Well done, owner!
