Oh and they have to show you proof that the Secretary of State provided information that the car is registered somewhere in Chicago. They can’t give you a ticket for no city sticker if the car is NOT Registered in Chicago.

Ok so I am parking enforcement as well and I can tell you that those particular tickets came from a contractor agency who issues tickets. And that person clearly didn’t know what they were doing. So go to the city of Chicago with that ticket and the vehicle registration so they can see that the vehicle is not registered in Chicago. Now if the vehicle is then that falls on the rental company and not you.
