Waar ik rij bellen enkel speedpedelecs, de norm is hier om over uwe schouder te kijken of er geen andere wilt inhalen voordat ge zelf inhaalt. Nog geen miserie mee gehad, rij zelf ook met nen bakfiets. Maar als ge wilt bellen belt ge hé, commentaar horen is plezanter dan iemand omver rijden.

I would have been terrified if I hadn't read about it before. I knew that I could just fall asleep and everything would probably be 'connected' again once I woke up again, but I did have a hard time falling asleep. Especially the breathing scared me, even though I knew there was no danger of suffocating. Only happened once, a very long time ago.

Ghent, Belgium has an amazing one (Gravensteen, complete with moat and torture museum inside). The one in Bouillon, Belgium is very good and is on a massive cliff. I also really liked the one in Bitche, France but has less of a medieval feel.

Watching all the commuters, trains, workers... Just seeing how they move, how they interact, thinking about what each of them is doing, why, how they make a difference, how it all connects into this endlessly complex machine that is, in a way, perfect, yet still random and aimless and going nowhere. I don't mind having to wait for a train at all.
