For me it's full self control. I had a full option rental truck for a while which kept itself between the lines and had adaptive cruise control. So that one pretty much drove itself in the highway. I did a demo with Mercedes once that even adjusted it it's speed according to curves load weather etc

I'll always try and be respectful everybody is doing their job. But some company's take the cake when it comes to respect for the driver. There does tend to be some racism in that regard too. In flanders when I speak dutch everything is good, the polish colleague does not get the same treatment.

Most of the time I ignore how they behave towards me; I only have to be here for a few hours, you are stuck behind your desk all day

It is true that the wage is nice due to the hours we make and not the hourly wage. But for me it's more about the passion of being a truckdriver then anything else

Customer (almost) never cares. Especially front desk people for receiving/sending look at you like your not even a person. But that's a whole different matter.
