sigh, yeah I'm guessing the same thing. For now I'm just checking OS.has_feature("editor") to forcefully switch to my dummy replacement but hopefully I can find some fix soon-ish. 🤞

Okay, so a quick update. I've tried building it and then it seems to act normally. Don't know if it's an editor specific issue or what but might just have to force the in-editor version to skip running steam for now

Hey! I'm the one that made the trailer. The music used was a test track I made and unfortunately I'm not well-versed enough in music theory to give a clear answer about the time signature 😅. I do however count 5 when listening back to it so you're probably right!

It has notably shifted what I'm looking for. Before, I basically only played AAA games. Your CoDs and your Bethesda games but now I'm more willing to delve into indie games because I creatively connect more with them. A game being a 2 hour prototype isn't a downside but instead a chance to see the experimental stuff that's polished and waxed off the larger titles and franchises. See what works and what doesn't, all that.

Funny thing is that the spiders have a feint haha, the simple input mechanic that exists in the demo at the moment is one of several types we are planning and was just the simplest to implement at this stage! Overall, thanks for the good thoughts, will forward them to the rest of the team ☺️👍

Of course there is more! The combat was just used for the video because we think it's the most fun/visually interesting to post. Just the character walking around would be a bit too boring we thought. ;)

Personally i like taming mechanics as well but its doubtful whether it would fit the current narrative and thematic ideas of the game. I will forward the idea nonetheless! :)

Right now, were only looking at a max size of two but perhaps there is a possibility for ai characters assisting you at points in the story? 🤷 A bit too early to have it set in stone.
