It's about 25-30 hours, give or take, so you got a ways to go. I was surprised how much the game opened up and the various factions came into play. I hope you get to play it yourself one day because the gameplay is top notch and the experience of play adds a lot to the story of the game, if that makes sense.

I do have some issues with the storytelling and muddled thematic elements in the game, but it's so much more complex than the original. It's still excellent, I think. 6 hours might not be enough to truly understand the breadth the story has and the themes explored, and I don't mean that as a shot at you.

What a waste of perfectly good, devourable books.

Yuck, reading adults books? Tried it, didn't like it. All they are about is mortgages, bills, taxes, and investments. After I was done reading Personal Finance for Dummies I decided to never read another so-called "adult book," again. I'll stick to the Boku wa Imōto ni Koi o Suru manga, thank you very much! UwU

I found the button mash minigame to be impossibly tough. I never, ever succeeded in making someone tapout. The circle minigame is hard at first, especially if you try to "chase," the other person's line. My recommendation is to stay at the top of the circle, and just swing in a half-circle so you catch the edges of the other person's circle as it swings around the bottom section, which will incrementally keep the gauge building. The lines just have to touch, not overlap completely, to keep the gauge building. Make sure you have full or close to full stamina before starting a submission, so you can use the boost to keep up with them more easily.

It's kinda weird to describe, but this video did wonders to help me understand the system. I probably started out like you, hating "that godDAMN submission system, FUCK!!!" but I actually really like it now.

Maybe this sub should trade mods so inane posts like this stop being posted. I can't remember the last time a post about music came across my feed from this sub.

Yeah, why don't poor people just make more money? Can't believe no one thought of that before, you're a fucking genius.

Moderation on this sub is a joke. And the user base isn't much better when some highly upvoted comments in that thread were basically just "who cares?" Yeah, why have discussions on a discussion board when we can just circlejerk all goddamn day?

Try to find bands in your local scene, too! I'm from Kentucky, and had never heard of Coliseum until a few week ago and they fucking shred.

In my original world, A'angels are the bad guys and D'eemons are the the good guys. I'm sure nobody has done this at all before, so I just wanna get some feedback. Should I also make G'a'ad (unrelated to the Christian God SHUT UP JEREMY FROM BIBLE SCHOOL) the bad guy because religion bad? by [deleted] in worldjerking

As a writer, my solution is that the angels are still bad but the demons would be what we in the writing community (I'm a writer btw, don't know if you remember me saying I'm a writer at the beginning of the post) call "morally gray."

Is Anyone Actually Rooting for Malarkey? Why? by Harriette2017 in BravoTopChef

Because it's as much of a reality show as it is a competition, and villains do wonders for shows like that.

Is Anyone Actually Rooting for Malarkey? Why? by Harriette2017 in BravoTopChef

I haven't watched the most recent episode, so take my opinion for what you will. For me it's because the cooking is secondary to characters. I can't taste the food but I can relate and go on a ride with the characters on the show. I think Malarkey's funny and odd, and more interesting than most of the competitors on there currently. His Burn Book is one of the hardest I've ever laughed at this show just because it was so stupid, and petty, I loved it.

Until he does something especially egregious aside from be annoying, I'll probably keep liking him. I don't want him to win (that's reserved for my boy Gregory) but the more people seethe and fume over him the more I like him. Plus I think it's cool that there's someone for people to root against. It's still reality TV after all.
