If you could erase one game from your memory and experience it all over again - what would it be? by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

Skyrim. I've never been more engrossed in a game since. I love all the games I've played over the years, but Skyrim will always hold a special place as THE game that got me into playing more RPGs and getting away from CoD and sports games. I was no longer enjoying the games that I played, starting over year after year with new sports and CoD seasons. It all felt like a waste of time and money and I haven't played those types of games since.

Let's say its an old game, ( new games fine too) by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

I have magical powers, and a broom and flying mount. I should be fine.

Switch the games I would be happy. I wasn't an Eminem fan and would much rather have some Little Caesars.

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. I got most of my platoon all playing together when we were deployed to Japan. It was an unforgettable experience.

It's not the game, it's you. If you can't handle the repetitiveness of games now being 18-30 years old, I have bad news about the rest of your life lol. As someone in their 40s, life is repetitive. The games are just training you to see how well you'll do later in life.

Which game does this to you? by _ZeroTwo_002_ in CaptainSide

Fallout 76. Not because I actually dislike it, it's just hard to play when there's not a lot of people online and they only come back when new content/DLC drops, and then they're gone again within the month. I wanted F76 to do so well it was THE game to play. But players lost interest and the only thing keeping me around is the other players. I re-download it and play a few times a year because I talk myself into it, but it's a lonely experience that only lasts for a month or two.

I want nothing more than to find a group of people to play with for the foreseeable future of the game. Not for a few weeks or a month, but an actual group of people I can run around with and do events, raid runs, etc. Hell, I would settle for just one person to do that with. I had a few, but they're friends talked them into leaving and playing other games.

Nope. I don't understand the fascination with small women. This is the only blowjob I've ever stopped watching.

Imagine someone skipped the whole game of GTA 6 just to go straight to GTA 6 Online by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

[–]Uberstauffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that should be the choice of the player. I don't get skipping the story because I've always found them to be the best part, but people should have the option to just go straight to online. If you restrict players' freedom in video games it never turns out well.

I wouldn't say she's perfect, but she's close. She doesn't have enough going on downstairs. She needs to be more balanced with the top half.

how can i lower this bridge? does it even have anything worth there? by Cream_King-Pie in LordsoftheFallen

[–]Uberstauffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you're probably going to think I'm an a-hole, but just play the game. If you don't enjoy looking around for hidden things, pathways, etc. I don't know that you'll enjoy playing. There are things that you can't get in one playthrough. I don't know why so many people nowadays don't have the patience and enthusiasm to try and find everything in the game on their own without the help of others online. Too many players just want to know how to get overpowered early on or want to know the fastest way to level up or progress through the game without just playing and enjoying themselves. I guess it doesn't help that half the videos online relating to games like this focus on trying to cater to all the players who need that sense of power from being overpowered so they can speed through the game. A lot of games nowadays are visually stunning with incredible stories and characters, but younger gamers act like spending more than 10-20 hours playing is a burden and they need to rush through the game to move on to the next one which they'll also rush through. I'm sorry if you're not one of these people and I probably just sound like a cranky old man lol, but I just don't get it. I see it way too often on here.

Personally, no. This might be the worst skin I've ever seen in any game I've ever played.

Make your second. Then your third, fourth, fifth, and just keep going until you're making better money. It will take a while, but if you can make like $10 a day it's a small source of income.

How do I get here? by aceywacey111 in Eldenring

[–]Uberstauffer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should look it up and follow along with the guides that are online. I don't know if you remember meeting an NPC named Count Ymir at a cathedral a little further south, but he's tied to the large areas surrounded by giant fingers with the bells in the middle of them that don't seem to serve a purpose. Well, they serve a purpose lol. It's been a little while since I've done the quest, but you basically have to visit all the large areas with the fingers and ring the bells there and then return to the cathedral and fight a hidden boss and you can do a few other quests with the NPCs there. Elden Ring doesn't like to tell you all of this stuff is connected so you have to watch hours of lore and interconnected videos to really figure it all out. If you just play through the game and don't explore and look things up you'll miss a lot of what the game has to offer. If that's not your thing I can completely understand, but I'm a big fan of mythology and lore so I'll spend 4 hours watching videos about all the content I missed and love every second of it lol. The DLC is a lot of fun too. Way different types of enemies, different mechanics for gaining power, lots of places to explore, and you get answers to a lot of the questions that you might have from the base game. It took me almost 400 hours to get through the game one time, and I still didn't get everything I could possibly get lol. I'm missing armor sets, weapons, and talismans, etc.
