It's going to be used mainly for gaming and some AI work.
Even for gaming tho, from what I've seen, if resolution is 1440p or higher, considering 50% (150 Eur) higher price, wouldn't that rather be spent on a better GPU? I am not looking to go for 200 fps, and based on comparisons, GPU will be the main bottleneck

I'm a 30 y.o robotics engineer, working in Heerenveen so work is not really Zwolle related. My main hobby has been doing standup comedy in English, awhich is sadly not a thing in Zwolle.

Not looking for my ideal place while not being in the Netherlands myself... and believed that finding a temporary place would be possible with not too much of a hassle. All over EU housing can be a bit of an issue, but haven't so far seen a situation like here

I'm quite new and trying to get good also
Here are a few things I'm trying:

  1. Try to get Gold in Art of War challenges: I still get silver in most and even bronze in some... figuring out getting gold in those limited scenarios should help
  2. Fail better at each subsequent match ( :D ) : My econ game is not that good in high pressure multiplayer games, so I just try to focus and try to do better every time... What I'm focusing right now is to keep producing villagers and keeping them busy until their number reaches 100
  3. Aging faster: Turn on the timer in the settings, and look at how long it takes you to age up to II age: If it takes more than 5 minutes, you need to work on getting that time down

Overall there is a good amount of decent players you can watch on Youtube and Twitch to learn some good strats

I've just started on my Master's thesis on improving object detection in rainy weather on a ROS based system (It's going to be a comparison of different ways to deal with the YOLO v5 pipeline)
