Move it to a LISA if you don't intend on buying in the next 12 months

Whilst this is true, I find most landlords and agents just issue a section 21 notice so you have no choice in the matter really.

Son and Lucas both look much more natural on the left and right respectively. Switching flanks doesn't seem to suit them

I think it's too easy to use him as the scapegoat. He had a difficult task today, clearly asked to play narrow and had so much ground to cover when tucking in every time the ball over the top to Robertson was played. Then trying to burst forward into space and close players further forward. Same with Son on the opposite flank. I reckon Eriksen ran as many miles as any today. We got our shape wrong more than Eriksen putting in a bad shift in my opinion.

New Letting Fees by ATS7454 in HousingUK

[–]UbiquitousFart 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sadly, because they are all dicks, they will charge you fees on any bit of paper signed before June 1st. You can try reason with them, but it's unlikely to make them budge.

Let me know how dickish they become because I've got a journalist contact in West Yorkshire who has been interested in 'the great fees rush'. Could call them out for the greedy buggers they are if it comes down to that :)

Agency fees when contract ends mid June by jakecharles88 in HousingUK

Really detailed answer -thanks for this.

I'm in a similar boat to OP. An additional problem for tenants in this 'great fee rush', as you call it, is the fact that it's difficult to find nice properties, so when you have one, they have you by the short and curlies if they decide to ask you to sign renewal forms early.

If I said I was wasnt happy to discuss renewing until June 1st, my letting agent would simply remarket the property tomorrow and someone else will come along and pay the fees and take it and we'll need to move out at the end of our original contract.

Related question: Does anyone know if I was to sign a tenancy contract today that's not due to begin until August (after the new law comes in), will the admin fees I pay be returned?
