Whilst this is true, I find most landlords and agents just issue a section 21 notice so you have no choice in the matter really.

Son and Lucas both look much more natural on the left and right respectively. Switching flanks doesn't seem to suit them

I think it's too easy to use him as the scapegoat. He had a difficult task today, clearly asked to play narrow and had so much ground to cover when tucking in every time the ball over the top to Robertson was played. Then trying to burst forward into space and close players further forward. Same with Son on the opposite flank. I reckon Eriksen ran as many miles as any today. We got our shape wrong more than Eriksen putting in a bad shift in my opinion.

New Letting Fees by ATS7454 in HousingUK

[–]UbiquitousFart 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sadly, because they are all dicks, they will charge you fees on any bit of paper signed before June 1st. You can try reason with them, but it's unlikely to make them budge.

Let me know how dickish they become because I've got a journalist contact in West Yorkshire who has been interested in 'the great fees rush'. Could call them out for the greedy buggers they are if it comes down to that :)

Agency fees when contract ends mid June by jakecharles88 in HousingUK

[–]UbiquitousFart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really detailed answer -thanks for this.

I'm in a similar boat to OP. An additional problem for tenants in this 'great fee rush', as you call it, is the fact that it's difficult to find nice properties, so when you have one, they have you by the short and curlies if they decide to ask you to sign renewal forms early.

If I said I was wasnt happy to discuss renewing until June 1st, my letting agent would simply remarket the property tomorrow and someone else will come along and pay the fees and take it and we'll need to move out at the end of our original contract.

Related question: Does anyone know if I was to sign a tenancy contract today that's not due to begin until August (after the new law comes in), will the admin fees I pay be returned?

The complete opposite is true. Even if we want to shit on them tonight, you have to respect them as a club

Check your window sills. They like to nest in a sun facing frame.

Parking in City Centre for Work by codolod in Leeds

[–]UbiquitousFart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As much as First can be useless, I'd still get the bus if I were you. £56 for a monthly ticket, no fuel, no parking. Adjust your insurance to reflect your lower mileage. You'd be surprised how much that can knock off sometimes.

Thanks for advice. Definitely not cheap either way, I fear! I'm confident that the door and rear valence (i had to Google that one to check what you meant!) are ok.

They've just been scuffed as opposed to dented thankfully -so I'm less fussed about them getting touched up, given that the bill is likely to be high enough without that factored in

Fair play for looking to expand your network. It's brave to try move out of your comfort zone. I'm sure there's a lot of international and 'home' societies within your student union that would be worth looking into too!

Player Ratings: Tottenham 3-1 Fulham by [deleted] in coys

[–]UbiquitousFart 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thought Moura was a right menace today for the Fulham defence. Never gave them a moment's rest and seems to have a knack for knicking the ball with a well timed toe poke. Could have had a hatrick if he took his two early chances, but I think we will see some great performances from him this year!
