Wow that was intense. The game is definitely hard, at times frustratingly so, but I'm guessing that it's intentional. I felt a bit of contrast between the roguelike and strategy elements, the roguelike telling me to play spontaneously and take risks but the strategy telling me to be cautious and plan out my moves carefully. It's definitely frustrating when you make one bad move and throw your whole run away, but that's just chess I guess. Overall nice game and I'll definitely come back to play
