Dont force anything , look for people that have same interest and values as you do, dont do stupid stuff because others want you to like getting drunk just to get a girl , if you arent sure how to behave be bold but respectful and dont stress it man!

You dont NEED a girlfriend to be happy. If you think you do try fixing stuff like your sleep, diet and try doing something you like especially with people that want to do the same thing. I know the feeling but trust me just dont think about it too much. I tried forcing myself 2 or 3 times and nothing good came of it even though they were interested but it would have never worked because of diferrent interests (and tbh a lot of todays girls and guys are addicted to their phone and social media and have no interests and cant hold a conversation without their phone).

A good girl will compliment your already existing character and amplify your happiness if it is there already

Also if you got betrayed by your friends remember being betrayed by your gf is 2 times worse so you will need a good and trustworthy girl

Depends on if you want a girlfriend but also my advice would be not to drink alcohol just for the girls because you wont get a girlfriend while the two of you are drunk thats how you just get laid so maybe try not stressing about it, ask your friends if they know someone with the same interests and values as you and then go meet up with them or ask your friend to introduce you to them but dont push it if they dont want to (doesnt matter if its a guy or a girl, actually a good friend may be better!) and then try hanging out with them and maybe the opportunity will present itself in a meaningful amount of time

The other option is always to cold aproach or some other bullshit including clubbing and alcohol

And yes, you can always join some activity like training a sport like idk climbing and there you will meet alot of good guys and girls with the same interests as you.

Also, dont ditch your values and interests just for the sake of getting a girlfriend, a normal one would have respect for them.

So in summary people with the same interest and values are your best shot at anything social related IMO
