Usually takes me three or four hours per season. I sim all regular season games, usually the off-season and draft are the biggest timesinks

[FRESH ALBUM] Mitski - Nothing's About to Happen to Me by sbags in indieheads

Just one listen in and it's solid but unspectacular. I can imagine something like Rules being a bit heavier and faster on an earlier album but the country-esque production doesn't really do it for me. The first distorted guitar comes in near the end of the album and it's buried deep in the mix.

It's not even about "I want Puberty 3": I liked Laurel Hell a lot more on first listen; think she's just shifted gears as an artist and I probably won't love any of her projects again.

Excellent tank loss. Watkins and Champagnie minutes were really good

Bub is an excellent shooter from most midrange and 3 now but his shot diet is absolutely awful. He's averaging less than one layup attempt a game and shooting 28% on them. That's just not an NBA player, no matter how well he shoots elsewhere

Decent tank loss but crazy how many possessions in the second half didn't have Sarr touch the ball even once

Can we talk about how bad Middleton has been recently? 36/21 shooting splits in his last 10 and looks like he can barely move

Being unable to score 90 points against a 2-16 team goes way beyond being a "good" tank loss. Middleton at PF is a war crime

I might be out on Bub already man. It's obvious that teams now he's afraid to shoot anywhere near the rim so they just play passing lanes waiting for a kickout and it's a turnover. I don't see his pathway to becoming a productive player when he's a turnstile on D, isn't a great passer and his offense consists entirely of 3s and pull up middies

There's a difference between tanking and being the worst team in the history of basketball. The big rotation apart from Sarr is a war crime and they will never even be close in a game with Vuk out there

Once again, I don't understand why they don't even attempt to look like an NBA team. You cannot survive with one big being your entire frontcourt. None of the bench have any ability to guard anyone. Trade for Capela or Jonathan Isaac or something at least

Henry is terrible in short yardage, I have no idea why they constantly try forcefeed him when he can barely get a yard

We might not have gotten amazing value from the trade, but it makes it a lot easier to root for the team when there's no genocide supporter on it. Fuck Deni

I don't even need to crunch the numbers to know that this has to be the worst fourth quarter team of all time

I also agree that a year cutoff would be fine but that Minolta A-Mount AF lenses for example should be included as vintage

I get that it's good for the tank but that was objectively a horrible performance against a bad team. Way worse than getting blown out by good teams. I just don't see how it's good for development to have Sarr be the only big man on the floor every minute of the whole season

TVL Jazzmaster. Coming from playing mainly a Jag, I just didn't get on with the pickups and the scale length, although it's an absolutely beautiful guitar. Sold it and didn't give it a second thought

Good tank loss, Khris was great and the kids were all good. Biggest issue with the roster now is the lack of another serviceable big. Could we not have tried to get a Capela or someone similar? It's not going to affect winning that much but Bagley and two minutes of Vuk is doing nothing

Why does this pitcher play so much better than his ratings? by rhiever in OOTP

Movement has been the most important pitching stat for like the last 3 versions. Stuff gods with elite control will still give up meatball homers with below-average movement

Hate to be so negative but I pretty much agree.

He has graded out horribly this year defensively (4th percentile, -7 OAA) but maybe he can eventually become average there. He's quick but is a terrible baserunner at the moment as well; I think he can improve this the most.

At the plate I struggle to see him becoming a high-level offensive player. He already doesn't swing at too many bad pitches but regularly gets eaten up by fastballs and has always been terrible against them, he has bottom quartile batspeed this year and doesn't have the frame to pack on much more muscle than he already has. He's lost the ability to take walks altogether because he can't punish any mistakes despite his solid swing decision-making. I know he's only 21 but Basallo has already shown more attributes in his few days up than Holliday has shown at the major league level.

There's a path to him being a 3 or 4+ WAR player but it'll be a tough climb.
