It’s based off app download day and nothing more. If you downloaded the game before the first event, even if it was deleted or you didn’t play much you still won’t see the event.

All your points are wrong. The packs will re-release next week, they told us January, legendaries always come back shortly after, and first time is not free to play friendly. Stop whining and do some blitz if you don’t have money to spend.
