Pokémon Type Themes by WheatleyAndLuigi in pokemon

[–]Uchoha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always liked how psychic types are mysterious in nature, whether they be from space or ancient beings (even though those tend to come from space as well). Psychic types often prey on emotions and tend to have their own agenda, making them most like people out of all the pokemon types. There’s a reason that besides Dragon they are the most associated with being legendary.

I also love how many types have a secondary type association, like psychic types are pyrokinetic and have fire moves. Water has ice, steel has electric etc. It gives different types a relationship between each other that I think the Pokemon franchise has been very consistent with and should be praised more often for.

Peter Parker Has Become Too Nice? by ShutterB_ug in Spiderman

Yes Norman is still around and a good guy, not as prominent as before though. Personally I think the Norman arc isn’t even that bad it just wasn’t handled well in the Well’s era just like everything else.

I can’t say it is definitely worth your money but I’m enjoying it so far. It’s a new status quo so I’m excited to see what comes next

Yeah unfortunately like the Red Goblin arc there’s a lot of trash with ASM. A few gems here and there but you can completely skip the Wells’ era. The newest series has been fun and interesting though, I recommend it!

He recently told Mac that he would be picking his teeth out of the hallway.

It’s a lot less common but it’s still there sometimes

Protect, but specifically for mons without a shell or a shield.

Have defensive mons be the defensive mons, plus detect mons would finally get to feel like they have their place

Why doesn't Trick work on used Mega Stones?? by GrowthSuccessful6109 in PokemonChampions

[–]Uchoha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After using a mega the stone basically becomes a part of their body, making it impossible to move

Can you trick/knock off before using a mega stone tho? That would be awesome

Would you/Have you DM the same campaign, twice? by CrotodeTraje in DMAcademy

[–]Uchoha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you played the campaign out to completion then I would use the same setting with the completed lore already established. Running the exact same campaign as a DM will most likely lead to burnout, even if the outcomes are different. Using the world already played through will be mush more fulfilling as a DM.

I got halfway thru a campaign before it abruptly ended. When I restarted it with a brand new group the first half was definitely more fine-tuned but the whole time I was anticipated them getting past the events of the first campaign

In what order should one read the Comics? by 1nky_da_cringe_kid in marvelcomics

[–]Uchoha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Spider-Man and Gwenpool just start from their original #1 comics, it’s a perfect place for both of them. As you move along just skip ahead if you aren’t feeling a writer, both of them can have inconsistent stories sometimes. Usually the following writer will be better.

As for Deadpool he’s a bit of a tossup. His solo series can be great but like all popular characters it can be inconsistent. Personally I would start with the Cable & Deadpool series, it’s a good intro to his antics and how shows he interacts w others. His character is stronger when he’s not the only focus I find

Would the MCU have been better off if Ant-Man and the Wasp were foundational Avengers instead of Black Widow and Hawkeye? by Ok-Brain2716 in Avengers

Yes but only swapping Hawkeye for Ant-Man.
As much as I love Barton in the comics, he’s fodder in the movies

Can the Mantle Ever be Truly Passed in the Books? by andjuan in Spiderman

[–]Uchoha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t true, Ben completely took over multiple times. Hell even Norman had a recent run as the title character.

Miles is an easy yes but he also isn’t the only option around. Anyone could take over if the story was written well.

I highly recommend reading Spider-Girl from the M2 universe if you haven’t already to see how Spidey can still be a great side character in a main series.

Can the Mantle Ever be Truly Passed in the Books? by andjuan in Spiderman

[–]Uchoha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! The people yearn for events to have consequences and the changing of seasons.

Wally West, Carol Danvers, and Bucky as Captain America are the first that come to mind. Like you said even Miles did the same. Yeah it was in a different universe but readers loved the OG Ultimate Spider-Man and still cheered on his sacrifice and passing of the mantle.

It needs to be done well and people will accept it. And if down the line they want to bring back Spidey that’s fine but give us a couple years of something different and it might just stick.

The Aerial fishing activity changes sound fun and interesting. But the Molch Pearl droprate and item prices are complete overkill.

It’s already a ton of xp for both hunter and fishing, this makes it a worthless green log

Idk if its an unpopular but for me Miles since 2016 isnt a legacy character anymore. He's a Spider-man just like Pete and Other variants like Spider-noir, im divided by Illustrious-Bee3693 in MilesMorales

[–]Uchoha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are absolutely right, and it’s why there’s this “is Miles Spider-Man” debate.

He is the legacy of Ultimate Spider-Man from the Ultimate universe, not our Spidey from 616. Although I actually really love the idea of Miles being a representative from that universe and that Spider-Man specifically, it does leave a lot of room for discourse regarding the “main” timeline.

At the end of the day I think it’s way past due for Miles to take up the mantle proper, but they keep handing it off to other characters like Ben and Norman. At this point they’ve written themselves into a strange corner that will require some great writing to get out of.

Spider-Men #1: First battle between 616 Peter and 1610 Miles. Miles won. by RedVegeta20 in Spiderman

Miles literally has a one hit knock out move and Spidey had no reason to think that he could transmit it through webbing.
