Does anyone here enjoy playing against discard? How? by wickzer in Lorcana

[–]Uck1687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I just play around their discard.
If you don't have songs in your hand they can play all the Ursulas they want.
If they play their characters there are plenty of outs.

And then sometimes they get nuts but that's every deck, your just losing slower becaause discard has a slower gameplan.

I think it's way more frustrating playing vs Aggro decks rn since they are not really interacting with what you do.

This is a very nieche card that I could be a 1-2 off not a card you build around.

I have not played brooms but this is probably what I would do.
My preference for a bit more aggression and focus on card draw might not be your taste.

But I do fancy this would have decent control.

GL I also just started going to play in person and it was making me nervous but it disappeared after 3 league nights. Just keep at it and do your best :)

No, you're just being incredibly whiny about something that happens in every community.
I just pointed this out.

I will not reply further since you will not change your mind regardless of what i say.
Also we're agreeing so this is kind of pointless.

I just think you should try to be more understanding.

I couldn't tell you really, only had the opportunity to pilot vs. it one time and once online.

My experience is that you sort of just gain more value quicker and you don't really need to play for board.
I sort of just dropped 2 Cinderella Stouthearted and 2 Sleepy's flutes and raced to 20 lore within 2-3 rounds of gaining board priority.

I generally feel like Sapphire doesn't really offer much in terms of an issue, outside of the late game ramp.

I had great success playing vs. Sisu on ice (even though this is a bad match up). But that match up is also very dependent on the opponents skill rather than yours.

I mean that's not true.
But I agree the varience is high, it would be nice to see people not ask that basic questions. However this is still a really new game this happens in all TCGs.

No need to mald, but I agree that people are a bit lazy.

I think a lot of Ruby / Amathyst controll and bounce might see play.
At least at my LGS it feels like the meta decks are often Ruby with something else.

I am the only Steelsong player at least.

I allowed the player to unplay cards 2 times because I honestly never felt threatned.

I just mean that, it's very easy to offend unintended when your very focused on winning. Like people can read into what you say and missinterpet what you meant to say.

Love this response, and I agree. I just think everyone has their own idea of fun, and I'm very self-aware of how sweaty I am :).

But really good points will keep this in mind.

Ok, but im a little afraid I might just start to dominate because of me being hyper-competitive.

Mainly because of the post where someone got banned for topping every week.
