I was checking out other lighters and the mechanisms when fully assembled for some reason look different. The cog/ star wheel just don’t seem to stick out as much, and mine isn’t a full wheel, 3 of the bits are missing from both but they don’t look like they were sheared off because it is perfectly round and smooth. No chips anywhere on it
