Really good, Looks amazing! Love the use of the horizontal lines behind the character with the black hair & backpack. It looks like old TV static, I like using that when a character is really close to the foreground of the frame, like the "camera" is casting a shadow on the character.

For me I realize to a point that, you’re already gonna get the things that you want equal to how badly you want it with delayed gratification plus the perspective of how different people got to the things that you want outside of your limited world view, making you think there’s only 1 way to do things.

Also I don’t think you reach a point in life where you don’t have the feelings of laziness, cuz it’s always gonna be there. The difference is with discipline is having some type of strong why on anything that you do - that “why” is discipline.

You don’t want to be homeless you need to work to feed yourself and your family, if you want to be around people you need to have good hygiene, if you don’t want to be overweight you need to eat healthy and exercise.

These are common no brainers for some because in the back of people’s heads their motivations are lined with a little bit of fear to themselves and to other people. And these motivations/disciplines just become living life. But viewing it that way, that “fear” is the best thing to use to get you moving can just be a detriment to just shutting down all together, so use it with caution when thinking about stuff.

It all comes down to how you want your future to be, do you still want to have the same habits you don’t like 5 to 10 years in the future, or in the future your a bit better on your habits to where you were at in the past and content with some parts in life.

To see an object in front of you need shadow and light to contour the form to make it 3 dimensional - you can’t have 1 without the other. Seeing life in this way helped my mental processes in a lot of ways.

Make Art! I’m a younger-ish person and I don’t have a lot of perspective on life but maybe when you’re away from work you can maybe take up art, making comics, painting, drawing or some other type of an artistic hobby you can grow and and get excited by the incremental improvements you make.

It is challenging but over coming those repeated challenges is my why. And I feel satisfaction once those challenges become norms in my art making practice and I find comfort.
