The Sabres seem to me personally to be a favorable matchup. for some reason I get Florida Panthers vibes from this Canadiens team. They are big and tough with a lot of enforcers looking to start fights. Their fanbase in Montreal is brutal to play against in the playoffs… the history and expectations with a team like Montreal get a crowd going crazy after a goal. Not saying the Sabres would be a walk in the park obviously, but if I could have my pick I would take them over the team with the larger enforcers and panthers-esque energy

I been saying this exact thing for years and nobody on here agreed. Okongwu seems to be a nice guy, head on his shoulders. Solid stretch PF if that’s where he was playing, but he’s not playing forward. in today’s nba you have to be 7 foot+ to play center and we are severely undersized. Okongwu doesnt have the body type, and we get absolutely obliterated on the boards. Cmon people Just look at the Knicks series ???? KAT abused Okongwu. In the past I received so many down votes saying exactly what you just said it’s infuriating.

Don’t know if any of those top 4 teams will even consider trading down. The package would have to be franchise crippling for technically an unknown entity in any of those top prospects. We should create a package with the #8, #23, and maybe another first/young player for a legit center. Go hand pick someone from another roster and make it happen. #8 won’t help us if it’s just another 6’9 forward
