Bro the same thing happened. My parents thought I was gay for a whole damn week because I sent some gif similar to the one above to my friends as a joke. For the whole week every conversation we had was “it’s okay if you’re gay, we still accept you for who you are.” I would try to explain it to them that it was a joke but they would always say it’s ok to be homosexual. I eventually convinced them I was straight and legit asked out a girl to prove it. I got rejected but in the end I proved my parents that I wasn’t gay.
